Advocate Moshe S. Goldberg served as the Israeli Commissioner of Patents, Design and Trademarks from the year's 2001 until 2004 As the Commissioner of Patents, Designs and Trademarks, Moshe specialized in conducting legal proceedings including, ex-parte and intermediate proceedings with regards to patents, designs and trademarks. Moshe is an expert in the fields of Intellectual Property, Technology Law and specializes in IP Litigation, Prosecution, Unfair Competition and Anti Trust Law.
Moshe is currently an adjunct professor at the Hebrew University in the Department of Biotechnology and teaches classes on Biotechnology and IP Law. He also teaches Trademark and Unfair Competition Law. Furthermore, Moshe teaches numerous legal seminars and gives classes on IP Law Remedies and Advanced Topics in Patent Law. Moshe has held several other teaching positions at the College of Administration and at Tel Aviv University. Early in his career Moshe assisted Professor Daniel Friedman, Professor Nili Cohen and Professor Menachem Mountner from the years 1988 to 1990.
Moshe holds an LLM from Columbia University where he concentrated on IP Law issues including Technological Properties, Anti Trust Law, E.C Law, Torts Law and Food and Drug Law. Moshe holds an LLB from Tel-Aviv University (Magna Cum Laude) with multiple distinctions. Moshe interned at Luthi & Co, Law Offices – IP Law and also worked as an associate attorney at the firm.
