Maya Karni has received her law degree (LL.B, August 2003) from the Academic College of Law, oriented with a wide array of intellectual property courses and seminars, including copyright and fair use, internet in the technology era, patents and trademarks rights.

Maya was admitted to the Israeli Bar Association in October 2006, and joined the Naomi Assia & Co. law firm office after completing her Internship in an intellectual property law firm in Tel Aviv. During her internship, Maya has acquired the practical knowledge in litigation, specifically in the fields of intellectual property, including trademarks, designs and patents.

Maya's work at the firm focuses on intellectual property litigation and distribution patent office actions responses to the different patent, trade mark and designs offices.
