Mr. Felber (Joe) began his legal career as a patent examiner in United States Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) after years as a NASA contractor. He subsequently became a primary examiner and then entered PTO management. Joe then worked in a private law firm in Washington, D.C., where he practiced patent law until he relocated to Israel. Here, he first worked in a major high-tech company as in-house patent counsel.

Joe holds a B.S. in physics and an M.S. in engineering physics, both from the University of Virginia (U.S.), and a J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law (U.S.). He is registered to practice before both, the Israeli and U.S. patent offices, and he is admitted to the bars of Virginia and the District of Columbia (both U.S.) as an attorney at law.
